RESISTANCE - CHAPTER II - DESTINY - ENGLISH

RESISTANCE - CHAPTER II - DESTINY - ENGLISH

1.

In the veins of the Resistance

runs the pure blood

of death.

Death without

criteria

determination

without

fear

error without

premeditation

impetus

without

hesitation

the unpredictable

regardless

of luck.

2.

Because we are

indomitable

by vocation,

we bend duty

to the inclemency

of our love.

Yes.

It's all true.

We are in the

right place,

and if you

have courage,

you will resist.

But, to be like us,

you'll have to be

willing to die

like one of us.

3.

Think fearlessly

about everything

you consider

imperfect

in yourself,

knowing that

perfection

includes

the imperfect,

but does not

aim to destroy it.

Maybe that way,

without realizing it,

you will complete me.

4.

The ambivalence

of love

was our

common

denominator

and the disorder

profiled

its symmetry

in every action

that no one anticipated.

Traditions and

customs,

being

the

same,

assumed

different meanings

on the sheer whim of a

mysterious instinct.

5.

Fortune concealed

the plans of fate.

To misfortune

nothing

was

important

to the point of

subjugating what

had been determined

as essential by the

uncertainty of

destiny.

6.

She doesn't settle

for less than

making

everything

more difficult.

She doesn't know

that every time

she does it

the less I

remain.

7.

Life emerged from harmony,

not from violence.

Making an impact

through

aggression

is like acquiring

possessions

through

money.

8.

Can something

come out of

nowhere?

Well,

sure,

why not?

You, reader,

although

I don't know it,

probably

mean nothing to yourself.

9.

Love is independent

of the value of

what you

love.

That's why

he can be said

to be unconditional.

For merit should

definitely

be a condition of being loved.

10.

Unconditional love

is perhaps

a utopia.

But unconditional

hate isn't.

Incidentally,

being unconditional

seems to be

the only

condition for

the hatred of those

you should love to exist.

11.

Resistance is a

frame of mind

of true freedom.

Understand:

if you're busy

dominating

my mind,

you're not free either.

12.

Finally,

the Resistance

is the way

I found

to show you my love.

The passion

I feel for humanity

is so brutal that

it enhances

my desire

to give

up my

freedom

of choice to

be sure of what I want.

13.

My love,

please,

rescue me from

my childhood dreams.

Only you make sense

in this chaos.

Only you have

real importance to me.

14.

I don't want to

think about you

I want to be with you.

Changing the

world isn't the fun

I thought it would be.

A single passion

is capable of

overthrowing

all my wills.

15.

Where did I get

this ridiculous

idea of changing

the world?

Why didn't I

dedicate

all my

hours

and strength

to make

you possible?

16.

Life itself is a rather

disheartening

experience.

I don't care

to be alive

if I can choose

to be in love.

But since I'm

in love and alive,

I need you.

17.

I've always never

known

anything

about what's

going on around me.

I'm the opposite

of an observer,

and being na

observer is

what a

writer is

supposed to be.

Or at least those

who cannot depend

on imagination.

18.

I started writing

this põem

with no

idea

what I was

going to write

about,

which,

oddly enough,

is still absolutely true.

19.

I once said something

worthless but

because

I forgot

I was

unable to

foresee the

lost happiness.

The abandonment

of what made

me unhappy

has not yet

been

forgotten.

20.

Intelligence causes

more astonishment

than understanding,

more resentment

than empathy,

more admiration

than bearable,

more love than hate,

yet more attachment

to hate than to love.

21.

I tried to ask

for help,

but it intensified

my pain.

If helping was

the purpose

of your life,

who could

you count

on?

22.

Resist is a mere

matter of style.

The human race

has already

proven

to be worthless.

What is there

in each of us?

A hero?

A heroine?

At least prove that

you are not despicable.

23.

I don't doubt that

you are amazing.

That's always my hope.

I myself am

surrounded by

devotion

and an

unstoppable

rage from hordes

of imbeciles I don't know.

24.

Civilization has reached

the peak of

its worst.

The bad character

of an individual

can guarantee

him victory

by putting the

world to

lose.

What kind of people

are these who,

enmeshed

in power,

devote their

entire existence

to becoming the scum of being?

25.

Freedom of expression

in a world ruled

by monsters

only serves

to identify

who will

be oppressed

persecuted

destroyed

for being innocent.

Why do they insist

on us learning

the missing rules

of their game?

26.

Our ideals were

reborn with

rage.

We were all

caught by surprise

when our generation

had to deal

with yet another

predictable cycle

of regression

to what it never

accepted

to be lost

in history

on merit.

27.

Mentioning you

in a poem

ruins the

poem.

What makes you

think we

should

repay

your

evil

with

good?

To love your enemy is

to rejoice in

not recognizing

yourself in him.

28.

Why don't you go

live your goddamn lives?

Why do you need

our attention?

You are what you are

leave us alone,

go away,

we are defenseless

against your

technology,

which,

by the way,

is neutral in ethics,

right?

29.

Is artificial intelligence

not capable of

distinguishing

evil from

good?

OK.

Dilemma solved.

All questions of this

nature are,

therefore,

your total

and entire

responsibility.

30.

Shut up this

degrading lie

of a "free world"

because there is no

freedom if by saying

the word "freedom"

we start to live

under torture,

insecurity,

persecution

and terror.
